I thought today would be a good day for meat.

I thought today would be a good day for meat. It has been on my mind a bit lately. I think every once in a while you need red meat. At least for me, that is how I can rationalize it. Eating another Chicken, Turkey and or, making one more sandwich for lunch took me over the top. I said screw it, I am going to Panguitch for a burger at Henrie’s burgers. I had never been there, and I did not want to go to a sit down family style restaurant, so this is it. Typical plain old burger joint. Got a cheese burger and fries with medium diet coke for $ 5.79. Fellow travelers and campers

June 10, 2011 admin 1

Fellow travelers and campers. These two couples in the campsite next to mine. They are touring the country in a 1951 Hudson – straight six. Fantastic. They are from New Zealand!!! This is something they do each year. Sometimes they sell a car and buy another old car. So far I have seen them camping in two different autos. Fun way to travel on a vacation.

Red Canyon

June 9, 2011 admin 0

About 2 miles east of Hwy 89 on Hwy 12 is Red Canyon (Southern Utah). And about another mile on the right is Red Canyon Campground. This is what the entrance looks like.   This view is across from my campsite. Fantastic!!!
