More of Bryce Canyon

August 30, 2012 admin 0

There are so many images to be made in the Bryce Canyon area. Here are four more images. The one image with the old rock-work wall base in the foreground was the original overview. That would make for scary but great images from that place. The wall barrier is now a bit further back. Safer view for some people just want to get a bit further out than you are supposed to. If you slip you can kiss your stupid ass good bye. A great camping friend. Tricia! A fun person to hang out with. One of many paths to take to the edge of the overlooks. Very peaceful and fantasy like. One of the many images of Bryce Canyon. The place is just loaded […]

Reading

August 18, 2012 admin 0

There are many good books out there and right now I am enjoying the Mike Pettit series of John Lock detective. If you like good old fashion hard-boiled detective reads this is it. The first book of his I bought is Jungle Rules. Treachery, murder, voodoo. and plenty of action to go around. His work is great stuff. Downloaded to my Kindle for $.99 up to $2.99. Great deals.

Bryce Canyon area.

August 10, 2012 admin 2

Decided to take a friend to Bryce Canyon the other day. Here is one of the overlooks. I was walking around the campground the other day and saw this couple setting up camp. I ran into them two years ago. They are on their way to Sturgis for the big motorcycle rally. They asked if I would like my photo taken on one of their bikes. Yes sir. Here I am. People I meet in my travels.

August 8, 2012 admin 0

Sometimes you need to go to town. I drove to Panguitch yesterday. I drove to the state liquor store. They open at 12:00 noon. They were not open yet so I stood outside. I noticed the two couples waiting as well. We started talking about their cameras. Nikons. They are from France. The two fellows are twins celebrating their 70th birthday. Wow. We proceeded to take photos of each other to share with others. We had a great conversation and then we went our ways. Taken with cell phone.

Another fellow traveler who learned the truth.

August 7, 2012 admin 0

“After graduation, due to special circumstances and perhaps also to my character, I began to travel throughout America, and I became acquainted with all of it. Except for Haiti and Santo Domingo, I have visited, to some extent, all the other Latin American countries. Because of the circumstances in which I traveled, first as a student and later as a doctor, I came into close contact with poverty, hunger and disease; with the inability to treat a child because of lack of money; with the stupefaction provoked by the continual hunger and punishment, to the point that a father can accept the loss of a son as an unimportant accident, as occurs often in the downtrodden classes of our American homeland. And I began to realize […]
