New grill – Weber Q 120 grill. This little puppy is easy to carry wherever you go. I will be grilling this evening. I will let you know how it performs. In the meantime here are images of the unit on the picnic table. The old Coleman was well let’s say crummy. Click on image to enlarge. OK, I grilled a hamburger last night. Wow is all I can say. It cooks much better than the Coleman Fold N Go Grill. You do get what you pay for. I am camped at 7500 feet elevation and was interested in seeing what the altitude would do. Not much difference from lower elevation. Maybe a minute or so difference in cooking time. Overall cleanup is great with […]
Espresso in a Starcraft travel trailer. This is what my espresso maker set up looks like in my Starcraft AR-One travel trailer. It is a great little set up for a trailer. There is room for a bit larger model if you have a particular machine in mind. Store it away when not in use. Add those delicious AM coffee espresso beans and wowie zowie you are in heaven or somewhere that makes you happy. Oh – the bean grinder – Capresso is a great grinder. This is a set up that works very nicely for my trailer. Click on image to enlarge.
The Tearstream trailer: A couple pulled in to camp towing this little gem. The couple – Ed and Pam from Gig Harbor, Washington built this trailer. It is fantastic. They have been all over the place. On one occasion they missed a Oklahoma tornado by 40 minutes. Whew. They are hanging out here for a few days before heading on. Click on image for enlargement.
Morning espresso. My taste buds were hankering for good espresso. Well my ship came in. I ordered my espresso from Coffee AM online. Wow, delicious. The first beans I am trying is Espresso Verdi. Great flavor in these beans. I love it. Makes a great Latte!! It really does beat Starbucks espresso for sure. My, my is it good. This morning I opened up the Espresso Italia and made my latte’s. It is so gooooood!! I love this puppy. Man oh man. Delicious as hell. Rich and full of flavor up the wazzoo. Click to enlarge.
A Power station – a must need tool. I picked this Powerstation up at a Costco store while in California a week or so ago. The cost was $75.00 including CA tax. Good units will cost between $75.00 amd $130.00. I have researched these units until I was going nuts. My friend Ken has this particular unit and he likes it a lot. It doesn’t have USB ports for recharging your iPod’s, Smartphone’s, Laptops, etc. But you don’t need a USB port. This has a 12 volt socket on the side. With that you can insert an adapter with two USB ports and just charge all of your devices that way. As shown in the photograph I am recharging my Galaxy S3 smartphone. It has […]
