Hiking the Historic Babylon/Little Purgatory loop trail.┬áMy friend Bill joined me to hike from our RV Park up a hill to join a small part of the Babylon/Little Purgatory trail. Wow, what a fun hike that was. It goes for a few miles of which we did not know. We just kind of fell into it while starting our hike. The views are great. You can see Kolob Canyon which is the northern part of Zion National Park, plus from our high point nearly 360-degree views are had of Zion National Park, Gooseberry Mesa, the Hurricane Cliffs, Sandstone Mountain, the Pine Valley Mountains, the Cottonwood Canyon and LaVerkin/Black Ridge wilderness areas, the Beaver Dam Mountains and portions of Arizona as well as interesting geological formations […]
